
Volunteer Requirements for Gulf Coast Chapter Year-End Awards Eligibility
A minimum of 4 hours of volunteering at any Gulf Coast Chapter event(s) is required for any Gulf Coast DSDCTA member competing for Year-End Awards. Volunteer hours must be received during the current membership year, December 1st through November 30th of the following year.

Volunteer hours are cumulative and can be earned during 1 event or over the course of many events.

Volunteer hours are transferable and can be earned by people who are not Gulf Coast DSDCTA members.

Volunteer hours can be completed by providing services or preforming tasks during a chapter hosted event, hosting and/or co-hosting an event, sponsoring the chapter or an event, and/or participating in a chapter hosted event.

If for any reason you are unable to fulfill your volunteer requirements you can participate in the Gulf Coast DSDCTA buyout program. The buyout program is a $30.00 fee that can be paid in exchange for volunteer time. The $30.00 buyout fee must be paid to Gulf Coast DSDCTA no later that October 15.
The Gulf Coast Chapter of DSDCTA is fortunate to have an amazing group of committed and hardworking volunteers. Our chapters success is due to the tireless hours given by so many amazing chapter and community members.

2023 Gulf Coast DSDCTA Scholarship Opportunity
ALL 2023 SCHOLARSHIPS HAVE BEEN SPOKEN FOR. APPLICATION SUBMISSION IS CLOSED.
Gulf Coast DSDCTA is offering 6 scholarships in 2023. The scholarships are intended for riders attending the GMO Education Initiative dressage clinic with Matt McLaughlin on Feb 18-19, or ECC DSDCTA Horse Camp March 17-18. Scholarships to be awarded are $75.00 per member.

You must be a in good standing to apply (you may include a membership form and member dues with your application).

Applicants must have The 4 Volunteer hours will count for both Scholarship and Year End Award Eligibility. Volunteer hours can be completed by providing services or preforming tasks during a chapter hosted event, hosting and/or co-hosting an event, sponsoring the chapter or an event, and/or participating in a chapter hosted event.

Riders must attend the entirety of the clinic or camp. Clinic or Camp fees must be paid in full; scholarship will be awarded upon competition of the event.

One (1) scholarship per member.

Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
